On September 14, the Secretary of the Central Party Committee (CPC) and Head of the CPC’s Mass Mobilisation Committee, Ha Thi Khiet and representatives from a number of the CPC’s agencies met with Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)'s leaders to discuss preparations for the seventh National Congress of the VFF.
Khiet heard opinions from the CPC’s Organising Committee, the CPC’s Inspection Committee and the CPC’s Office on preparatory work. She praised the VFF’s efforts in organsing the personnel for the congress includes representatives of ethnic minority groups, intellectuals, religious groups, overseas Vietnamese and other members of society. She also asked the CPC’s Office and other various agencies to work closely with the VFF to make the congress a great success.
The VFF’s seventh National Congress is due to be held in Hanoi from September 28-30.
