During the five-month course in Vietnam, 20 Lao officials will have a chance to study Marxist-Leninist theory and the thoughts of Ho Chi Minh, as well as the policies and guidelines of the Vietnamese Party and State.
The course will also help the trainees gain a comprehensive knowledge of the current era, strategic thinking and social sciences and humanities.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, HNIPA Director Le Huu Nghia said over the past years, the institute has trained hundreds of high-ranking Lao officials with a view to consolidating and developing the special friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Sunthon Saynhachac said that the Party and State of Laos highly value Vietnam’s assistance in developing human resources for his country.
