Miller, who is also a former Prime Minister, briefed his host of the situation in Poland as well as the operation of the SLD Party in the recent years. 

The Polish party leader said he hopes the two parties will further strengthen the exchange of information and experience, as well as promoting coordination and cooperation at multilateral political forums, thus boosting the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries. 

Mr Trong affirmed that the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) always treasures the traditional relations and cooperation with the SLD Party. 

He expressed his belief that the sound relations between the two parties will positively contribute to the consolidation and development of the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two nations and peoples. 

Earlier, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two parties was signed.
