Receiving the Korean diplomat on March 4, Mr Dung said the efforts of Mr Im have helped to make the RoK a leading partner of Vietnam with regard to investment, trade, and official development assistance (ODA).
Mr Dung told Ambassador Im, who is going to conclude his term in Vietnam soon, that bilateral relations between the two countries have strongly developed in a wide range of fields such as culture, science and technology, education, and tourism as well as people-to-people diplomacy.
The PM expressed his wish that in his new position, Mr Im will continue working to promote the friendly and cooperative ties between the two countries and two peoples, especially in the areas of economics, trade, culture and ODA and to provide more support for Vietnamese people living in the Republic of Korea.
For his part, Ambassador Im said he is impressed by the land and people of Vietnam and he believes Vietnam will soon become a developed industrial nation.
