PM Phuc visits Thailand: Day 2 in photos

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a weighty agenda on day two of his state visit to Thailand Friday, August 18, during which he spent most of his time meeting with Thai business leaders.

To begin the second day of his state visit, Prime Minister Phuc attends a Vietnam-Thailand Economic Cooperation forum in Bangkok.

Shortly after his arrival at the forum, Prime Minister Phuc meets with Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Prajin Juntong.

In a keynote address, the PM affirms that Vietnam will continue striving to create a business climate conducive to attracting trade and investment from the Thai business community.

Pictured, Prime Minister Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Juntong witness the signing of contracts and cooperation agreements in a variety of fields.

After which, Prime Minister Phuc meets with AMATA Group General Manager Somhatai Panicheawa, a Thai company that has a long history of investing and doing business in Vietnam.

Subsequently, the Prime Minister meets with Thai SCG Chair and CEO, Roongrote Rangsiyopash.

Afterwards, the Prime Minister holds talks with Thai billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, CEO of TTC Holdings.

Above, the Prime Minister meets with Tos Chirathivat, CEO of the Thai Central Group.



Later in the day, on Friday, August 18, PM Phuc poses for photo with Prachuap Chaiyasan, President of the Thailand-Vietnam Friendship Association.

Late in the afternoon of August 18, Prime Minister Phuc and his wife pay a visit to the Vietnam Embassy in Thailand where they meet with officials, staff and members of the Overseas Vietnamese community.
