Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his entourage left the Thai Royal Air Force Airport in Bangkok, Thailand and return to Hanoi on the morning of December 21, successfully concluding his official visits to the three countries of Cambodia, Laos and Thailand from December 18-21.

PM Dung’s visits have left good impressions on leaders of the three countries that Vietnam is strongly developing. The visits have helped not only increase mutual understanding and confidence among leaders but also tighten and strengthen the relations of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.


Prior to his departure, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung met with representatives of Thai enterprises, affirming that the Vietnamese Government will create favourable conditions for them to increase investment and business activities in Vietnam.


Earlier, PM Dung had talks with the staff of the Vietnamese embassy in Bangkok and asked them to further boost political relationship and economic cooperation in all areas, particularly in those of great potential such as tourism, investment, import and export. The embassy must serve as a bridge between Vietnam’s representative offices in Thailand and overseas Vietnamese and take care of the lives of Vietnamese people living in Thailand, PM Dung said.
