A high-ranking Vietnamese delegation led by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung left Hanoi on April 10 for Pattaya, Thailand, to attend summits between ASEAN and its partners, including China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand and the UN.

Mr Dung and other ASEAN leaders will attend the ASEAN +1, ASEAN+3 and ASEAN-UN conferences and the East Asia Summit (EAS).

They will discuss measures to boost cooperation between ASEAN and its partners, especially in effectively responding to global challenges, and to set a new course for the development of regional cooperation frameworks.

PM Dung and Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem will have bilateral meetings with several leaders of regional countries.
