Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and his wife visited the late President Ho Chi MInh’s relic area at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on February 15 on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

PM Dung was accompanied by Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Doan Manh Giao, and Minister of Culture and Information Le Doan Hop.

Mr Dung and his wife offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh’s memorial house and visited his working place.

On behalf of the Government, PM Dung praised efforts and the responsible spirit of staff working in President Ho Chi MInh’s relic area which welcomed more than two million domestic and foreign visitors last year. He noted that through President Ho Chi Minh’s documents and photos, Vietnamese people and international friends can achieve a better understanding about his life and work, as well as the Party and State.

The PM asked the entire people to actively take part in the movement of “studying and following the late President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”, launched by the Politburo to mark the 77th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
