Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will lead a Vietnamese government delegation to attend the 4th summit of the group of 20 major economies (G 20) in Toronto, Canada, on June 25-28.

Mr Dung’s participation in the meeting was made at the invitation of Canadian Prime Minister Stephan Harper who is the co-chair of the G20, according to a communiqué released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 22.

This is the first time Vietnam, which is the incumbent Chair of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), will attend the event.
