PM begins Ukraine visit
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived in the Ukrainian city of Kiev on October 4 to begin his official visit to the country.
- Strengthening cooperation with the Netherlands, Uzbekistan and Ukraine
PM Dung was welcomed at the airport by Ukrainian government senior officials, Ukraine’s ambassador to Vietnam Oleksiy Shovkoplias, ASEAN ambassadors to Ukraine, Vietnamese ambassador to Ukraine Ho Dac Minh Nguyet and her staff, and overseas Vietnamese living in the country.

Mr Dung’s visit, made at the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart, Mykola Azarov, is aimed at implementing the agreement on developing the comprehensive cooperation and partnership between Vietnam and Ukraine.
Both leaders will also discuss ways to boost bilateral ties in economics, trade, investment, science, technology, training and education.
PM Dung was scheduled to work with the Vietnamese embassy and Vietnamese community in Ukraine later the same day.
