In the 2010-2015 period, the programme will complete surveys and the mapping out of UXO regions nationwide. It will build up a set of national criteria to deal with the unexploded ordnance and establish a data centre on accident victims, the areas infested and how the situation is being handled.

It will also carry out bomb and mine clearance to ensure socio-economic development and public safety, provide education to help people avoid UXO accidents and resettle people living in heavily infested areas.

In the second phase (2016-2025), apart from continuing bomb and mine clearance, the programme will call for support from international governmental and non-governmental organizations to help UXO victims.
