Mr Sang, who is also standing member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, made the request while attending a grand meeting in Phu Yen on April 1 to mark the province’s 400th anniversary and receive the Ho Chi Minh Order.

He praised the remarkable achievements recorded by Phu Yen over the past 20 years and called for greater unity among local people to uphold the glorious tradition of their ancestors.

Since the province’s liberation day 36 years ago, Phu Yen has made many significant achievements in various fields, with an average GDP reaching more than 10 percent annually.
