People’s Supreme Court contributes to revolutionary cause
The People’s Supreme Court held a meeting in Hanoi on September 10 to mark its 65th founding anniversary and receive Laos’ Friendship Order.

Addressing the event, State President Nguyen Minh Triet praised the Court’s contributions to Vietnam’s revolutionary cause, ensuring political stability, security, and social order.
He asked the sector to uphold its glorious tradition and exert greater effort in completing assigned tasks.
Truong Hoa Binh, Chief Judge of the People's Supreme Court, said the sector will continue to strictly implement resolutions of the Party and National Assembly on judicial reform and focus on legislative work. It will also actively participate in the movement “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”, he added.
Since its establishment in 1945, the Court has achieved many successes in dealing with big criminal cases. It has been presented many honorable titles and noble orders, including the Ho Chi Minh Order in 1995 and the Gold Star Order in 2005 - the State’s highest distinction.
