The delegation also included State President Nguyen Minh Triet, Prime Minister Nuyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Nuyen Phu Trong and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Huynh Dam.

Former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, former State President Tran Duc Luong, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An and many other Party Politburo members, Party Secretaries and revolutionary veterans were also present at the ceremony.

They also laid a wreath at the War Martyr’s Monument in commemoration of revolutionary soldiers who laid down their lives for national independence. 

The same day, delegations of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Public Security and mass organisations in Hanoi laid wreaths at the mausoleum.
