Mr Sang praised the Publishing House for recording the significant achievements over the past year and performing its role well as the key publishing house that produces books about the Party and State’s political theory and laws, especially documents for major national celebrations, Party congresses at all levels and the 11^th National Party Congress

Regarding the 2011 tasks, Mr Sang asked the Publishing House to focus more on developing human resources to improve its publications and facilitate the implementation of the 11^th National Party Congress’ resolution, the 13^th National Assembly election and all levels of people’s council elections.

The national publishing house needs to boost the publication of media products about the history and special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos. It should also promote international cooperation in this field to help people around the world understand more about its people after 25 years of the Doi Moi (Renewal) process which has raised its status in the international arena.

The house should make direct proposals to the Party Central Committee to help it iron out snags in publication.

Reviewing the outstanding results of last year, the National Truth’s Director and Editor-in-Chief, Nguyen Duy Hung said the staff effectively fulfilled all the set targets and ensured content with solid political theory and ideology and more attractive presentations.

The publishers also satisfied the political requirements for major national celebrations and political events on schedule, Mr Hung added.
