At a reception for Egyptian Minister of Investment Mahmoud Mohieldin in Hanoi on January 25, Mr. Sang assured Vietnam’s unswerving respect for bilateral relations. 

“Egypt has played an important and active role in the Middle East – North Africa,” said the senior Party official, expressing his belief that the Egyptian people will record greater achievements in their national construction under the NDP leadership. 

His views were echoed by the guest, who pledged to boost cooperation in all fields with Vietnam, including investment, industry, commerce and tourism. 

The Egyptian minister also expressed admiration for Vietnam’s achievements and experience in the renewal process as well as its raising prestige in the international arena.
