Party leader pays tribute to heroic martyrs in Da Nang

VOV.VN - Party General Secretary To Lam laid wreaths and offered incense at a memorial site in the central city of Da Nang on March 29 to commemorate heroic martyrs.

The ceremony marked the 95th anniversary of the municipal Party Organisation (March 28) and the 50th anniversary of the city’s liberation (March 29).

Joined by officials from the Party Central Committee and the city, the Party chief led the delegation in a solemn moment of silence. With deep gratitude, they paid respects to President Ho Chi Minh and the fallen martyrs, remembering their noble sacrifices for the nation.

On this occasion, they reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country, striving to be worthy of the legacy left by previous generations.

Da Nang, a heroic land that endured two arduous and fierce wars, has nurtured many outstanding individuals who bravely sacrificed their lives for the revolutionary cause, leaving an indelible mark on the nation's history.
