“We warmly congratulate the sixth Congress of your Party on its success and firmly believe that in the light of the Congress Resolution and under the leadership of the Communist Party of Cuba headed by you, the Cuban fraternal people will overcome all difficulties and challenges, harvesting greater victories in the national construction and development for the benefit and happiness of the people,” Mr Trong said in his message dated April 20.

He reaffirmed the desire and resolve of the Party and people of Vietnam to further promote, strengthen and consolidate the friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and people of Vietnam and Cuba.
