Speaking with the relics’ officials and staff, Party General Secretary and Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Phu Trong praised their efforts in preserving items related to Uncle Ho’s life and work.

Mr Trong said the Party, people and army underwent many important events in 2010 and achieved significant results. Every official and Party member should follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example by doing good deeds. The relics caretakers should continue to preserve items related to Uncle Ho’s life and work and introduce them to international friends.

On the same day, Mr Trong also offered incense to late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong.

Prior to the upcoming traditional Lunar New Year festival, he also offered incense to late Party General Secretaries Le Duan and Truong Chinh and paid Tet visits to former Party General Secretaries Do Muoi, Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh; former State Presidents Le Duc Anh and Tran Duc Luong; former NA Chairman Nguyen Van An and General Vo Nguyen Giap.
