President Sang made the statement at a working session with provincial leaders on implementing socio-economic tasks and ensuring defence-security in the province on April 22.

Along with investing in rural infrastructure, he said Ninh Thuan also needs to assist farmers to apply scientific-technological advances massively to raise their production efficiency as well as their incomes. 

The locality should also focus on attracting investment and facilitating business production, he said.

The President praised the province’s socio-economic achievements in recent time, particularly its expansion of technological advance-based production models in ethnic minority people-inhabited areas, promotion of aquaculture, salt production and development of tourism and wind power.

The same day, President Sang met and presented gifts to religious dignitaries and ethnic people in the locality.
