The Party leader made the statement while working with the provincial Party Committee on May 19.

Mr Manh asked Party organisations and members and leaders of key sectors to raise high sense of responsibility and leadership role in implementing the campaign “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” to make it practical and efficient.

He stressed the need to strengthen unity among Party organisations and members by sticking to the principle of democracy to fulfil assigned tasks.

The Party leader affirmed that human factors are a decisive factor in realizing programmes and set targets. He voiced his support for the province’s human resource development projects for ethnic minorities and young officials to generate qualified personnel to meet the province’s requirements in the new context.

He urged Nghe An to focus on poverty reduction and improving the living conditions of local people, especially those living in remote areas with difficulties.

Visiting the Military Zone No4, Mr Manh asked the zone to coordinate closely with Party organisations, administrations and people in the locality to firmly defend national independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, while strengthening the relations of special friendship with Laos and building the common borderline of friendship, cooperation and development between the two countries.  

He also asked the zone and Nghe An province to make thorough preparations to ensure the 12^th National Assembly election on May 20 will take place in a safe, democratic and lawful manner.
