While in Denmark, Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Hieu, senior lieutenant-general, discussed measures to promote cooperation in national defense with Kristian Fischer, Denmark’s Secretary of State for Defense.

He also worked with several Danish defense agencies including the Emergency Management Agency and the Defense Command to seek Danish cooperation in technology quality assurance, material supply, and assistance to Vietnam in landmine clearance and overcoming the aftermath of wars.
