The head of the Vietnamese delegation to the United Nations, Ambassador Le Luong Minh, gave a reception at the UN office on September 3 to celebrate Vietnam’s 64th National Day (September 2).
The function was attended by Deputy UN Secretary General Asha-Rose Migiro, UN Under Secretary General for Political Affairs Lynn Pascoe and Under Secretary General for Communications and Public Information Kiyotaka Akasaka.
The reception also welcomed the heads and deputy heads of missions from 15 country members of the UN Security Council, heads of missions to the UN of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and representatives of other UN members.
