On its first day, the committee approved its working plan and the Assembly agencies’ external affairs and international co-operation programmes for the next year.
During their three-day session, the committee will give opinions on draft reports on the Assembly’s performance during its 2007-11 tenure and on preparations for its 65th anniversary, review the outcome of the 8th session and prepare for the next session of the NA.
The committee will contribute their opinions to the Government’s paper on the dissolution of criminal investigation agencies and security investigation agencies belonging to Hanoi’s high Command and renaming the First and Second Zones’ crime investigation agencies under the General Department of Logistics.
The session will also consider opinions as to the Bill on the Prevention of People Trafficking and the draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to some Articles of the Civil Procedures Code.
