A delegation of the National Assembly, led by its Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, arrived in Mexico City on November 30, beginning a two-day working trip to Mexico.

During their visit, which aims to strengthen bilateral ties, Ms Ngan and her entourage will have talks with the Mexican Senate Vice Chairman, Arturo Nunez Jimenez, attend a Senate meeting, hold a working session with the Chairman of the Mexican House of Representatives, Emilio Chuayfet Chemor, and grant an interview to the Mexican legislative body’s media.

The Vietnamese delegates will also work with the General Secretary of the Labour Party of Mexico, Alberto Anaya Gutierrez.

As scheduled, they will meet with officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico, lay a wreath of tribute at Ho Chi Minh’s monument and visit a number of national historical sites in the North American country.
