The Lao NA leader thanked the Vietnamese Party, State and people for their whole-hearted assistance to the Lao people.

She described the Vietnamese legislature’s help in building the Lao NA office as an invaluable gift, manifesting the strength of the close relationship between the two countries.

NA Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong said she believes that the Lao people will reap more achievements during their renewal process under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.

She took this occasion to thank the Lao Party, Government and people for their support, and affirmed that the Vietnamese Party, Government and National Assembly will do their utmost to foster the special friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

The same day, Vice NA Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong laid a wreath at the monument of unknown fallen soldiers in Vientiane and visited the Vietnamese Embassy.
