The 32nd session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee took place in Hanoi on July 20 to discuss five draft laws, review the results of the seventh session and prepare for the next session of the 12th NA.

The session was also to prepare for the 65th anniversary of Vietnam’s NA and approve the NA’s report on plans for the 12th NA.

The NA deputies will discuss some major issues and give their opinions on the Law on State Employees, the Law on Administrative Procedures, the Law on Environmental Protection Tariffs, the Inspection Law (revised) and the Mineral Law (revised).

They will also focus on the two ordinances, including the Ordinance on Judge and Judge’s Panel at the Supreme People’s Court (revised) and the Ordinance on Inspectors of the People’s Procuracy as well as consider a decision to add members to the Judge’s Panel at the Supreme People’s Court.
