During the session, NASC gave opinion on seven draft law projects, including laws on denunciation, the capital city, human trafficking control and supplements and amendments to articles of the Securities Law, the law on criminal procedure and the laws on National Assembly (NA) and People’s Committee elections.

Five of the draft laws will be proposed at the NA’s eighth session.

The NASC also discussed State budget allocation for the 2011-2015 period and reported on preparations for the 31st ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-31) and the NA’s eighth session.

Speaking at the closing session, NA chairman Trong asked NA agencies to prepare to propose the draft laws at the NA’s eighth session.

He also asked the NA vice chairmen and relevant agencies to implement the NASC decisions and get ready for its 35^th session.
