NA President and his spouse experience traditional Mongolian culture

VOV.VN - National Assembly (NA) President Tran Thanh Man and his spouse, alongside Mongolian National Assembly President Sandag Byambatsogt and his spouse, participated in traditional Mongolian cultural experiences at the Chingisiin Khaanii Khuree Complex on the morning of September 11 local time.

They took part in a miniature Naadam Festival, a recreation of the largest, oldest, and most cherished traditional festival of the Mongolian people, recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. They also experienced distinctive Mongolian cultural and sports activities and tasted traditional dishes inside a traditional Mongolian yurt.

Mongolian National Assembly President Sandag Byambatsogt stated that through these steppe activities, the Mongolian side wished to introduce the unique features of nomadic culture and the daily life of the Mongolian people to the top Vietnamese legislator, his spouse, and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation.

President Sandag Byambatsogt emphasized that Mongolia stands ready to facilitate Vietnamese investors and businesses wishing to invest in Mongolia in sectors such as leather and wool production, beef, and goat meat for export to third countries, while promoting tourism cooperation and increasing flight frequencies as many Mongolians express a desire to visit Vietnam.

NA President Tran Thanh Man expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for the fine sentiments, respectful and warm welcome extended to the delegation by Mongolian National Assembly President Sandag Byambatsogt and his spouse, the Mongolian National Assembly, relevant agencies, and the people of Mongolia.

The top legislator noted that over the past three days, the country and people of Mongolia have left the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation with profound impressions of a beautiful and deeply hospitable nation. In particular, the activities on the steppe provided a meaningful experience for members of the delegation, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the culture and lifestyle of the Mongolian people.

NA President Tran Thanh Man affirmed that the programs and activities within the framework of the visit are highly practical and meaningful, contributing to strengthening friendship, solidarity, and mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, while further tightening relations between the high-ranking leaders of Vietnam and Mongolia.
