NA leader visits region of Czech Republic Karlovy Vary

VOV.VN - On April 13, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan visited Karlovy Vary region of the Czech Republic during her ongoing official visit to the Czech Republic April 12-14 as part of her European tour.

At a meeting with the city’s Mayor Petr Kulhanek, Ngan urged the city authorities to encourage their enterprises to strengthen trade, culture, and tourism exchanges with Vietnamese localities. 

She said she hopes that local authorities will facilitate the Vietnamese community to contribute to enhancing cooperation and establishing friendship ties between localities of the two countries.

The top legislator thanked the local authorities for creating the best possible conditions for the Vietnamese people to integrate into the Czech society.

She said at her meetings with Czech leaders, the two sides reached a high consensus on the need to strengthen the countries’ traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation.

The top legislator also invited the region’s officials to visit and set up cooperative relations with Vietnamese localities which boast tourism advantages like Quang Ninh and Khanh Hoa provinces.
