NA elects members to its Ethnicity Council and committees
NA deputies have voted to elect more than 400 members to the NA Ethnicity Council and NA agencies.
On July 29, the NA approved the list of members elected for the posts of Chairperson, Vice Chairpersons and members of the NA Ethnicity Council. Lists of members, Chairpersons and Vice Chairpersons were also approved for other NA Committees.
According to the voting result, the NA Ethnicity Council consists of 40 members headed by Ksor Phuoc; the NA Committee for Legal Affairs (40 members) will be chaired by Phan Trung Ly and the NA Committee for Justice (30 members) headed by Nguyen Van Hien. The NA Committee for Economic Affairs (45 members) will be led by Nguyen Van Giau; the NA Committee for Budget and Finance (37 members) headed by Phung Quoc Hien and the NA Committee for National Defense and Security (36 members) headed by Nguyen Kim Khoa. The NA Committee for Culture, Education, Youth and Children (43 members) will be headed by Dao Trong Thi and the NA Committee for Social Affairs (50 members) will be led by Truong Thi Mai and the NA Committee for Science, Technology and the Environment (33 members) will be chaired by Phan Xuan Dung. Finally, the NA Committee for External Affairs (36 members) will be headed by Tran Van Hang, and the NA’s Secretariat, consisting of 13 members, will be led by Nguyen Hanh Phuc.
The legislative body also voted to approve a resolution removing Vuong Dinh Hue from the post of the State Chief Auditor to assume a new task.
Immediately after the voting results were announced, the first sessions of the NA Ethnicity Council and NA Committees were held.
