The delegation attended the 32^nd General Assembly of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA 32) at the invitation of Cambodia’s NA President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin.

This is the first foreign visit made by Nguyen Sinh Hung since he assumed the post of NA Chairman. The visit is designed to convey the friendship and solidarity of the Vietnamese Party, State and people to the Cambodian Royal establishment, Government and people.

It also affirms Vietnam’s determination to consolidate and strengthen the traditional friendship and comprehensive and sustainable cooperation between the two countries for peace, stability, cooperation and development both in South East Asia and the world.

As scheduled, the official reception for NA Chairman Hung will be held at the headquarters of Cambodia’s National Assembly under the chairmanship of Mr. Heng Samrin

Both NA Chairmen will hold talks to discuss and agree on measures to strengthen and promote close cooperation between the two legislative bodies under the framework of bilateral cooperation at international and regional forums.
