He made the remarks while meeting with provincial leaders on Dec. 5 during his working trip to Hau Giang from Dec. 4-5. Earlier on Dec. 4, NA Chairman Trong visited a number of economic establishments in Hau Giang province.

He praised the province’s efforts in resolving social issues and maintaining sustainable development towards a socialist-oriented market economy.

In recent years, Hau Giang has taken dynamic and active measures to attract investment and created good policies on land acquisition and compensation, he added.

The NA leader also asked provincial authorities to pay due attention to improving the living conditions of the Khmer ethnic minority group and those living in remote areas.
