The trip was made at the invitation of Canada’s Senate Speaker Noel A. Kinsella, and the President of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, Ricardo Alarcón De Quesada, according to a  communiqué released by the NA Committee for External Relations in Hanoi on August 30.
