NA begins in-person session of 15th legislature’s second meeting

VOV.VN - National Assembly (NA) deputies are set to meet in person from November 8-13, the final week of the second session of the 15th legislature, to discuss and decide on a host of important issues.

Legislators will discuss the implementation of the 2021 socio-economic development plan on November 8, alongside the draft socio-economic development plan for 2022.

They will also scrutinize a report on COVID-19 prevention and control, and the enforcement of Resolution No. 30/2021/QH15 on the first session of the 15th NA.

Other issues to be raised for discussion include the implementation of the state budget in 2021, the state budget estimate and the central budget allocation plan for 2022, and the 2022-2024 finance-budget plan that will be further debated on November 9.

The hearing session will then be held for two and a half days, with the Ministers of Health, Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs; Planning and Investment; and Education and Training set to  respond to lawmakers’ questions.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will also attend at the session which will be broadcast live by channels of Vietnam Television, Radio the Voice of Vietnam and the NA Television.

Lawmakers will vote on two draft laws and 12 draft resolutions during the final week, with the closing ceremony set to conclude on November 13.

Earlier the NA ended 11 days of online meetings, finalizing many important contents of the 2nd session.
