Accordingly, the new government has four deputy prime ministers, 18 ministers and 4 ministerial-level agencies.

Four deputy prime ministers include Hoang Trung Hai, member of the Party Central Committee; Nguyen Thien Nhan, member of the Party Central Committee; Nguyen Xuan Phuc, member of the Politburo; and Vu Van Ninh, member of the Party Central Committee.

18 ministers are:

1. Minister of Defence, General Phung Quang Thanh, member of the Politburo

2. Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Tran Dai Quang, member of the Politburo

3. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pham Binh Minh, member of the Party Central Committee

4. Minister of Home Affairs, Nguyen Thai Binh, member of the Party Central Committee

5. Minister of Justice, Ha Hung Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee

6. Minister of Planning and Investment, Bui Quang Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee

7. Minister of Finance, Vuong Dinh Hue, member of the Party Central Committee

8. Minister of Industry and Trade, Vu Huy Hoang, member of the Party Central Committee

9. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Cao Duc Phat, member of the Party Central Committee
