The Most Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and his entourage from Mai village in France left Hanoi on May 9, concluding his second visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s International Buddhism Board.

During his three-month stay in Vietnam from February 20 to May 9, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh was received by State President Nguyen Minh Triet and General Vo Nguyen Giap.


With assistance from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, and other Buddhist Representative Boards, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh organized three requiems in Hanoi, Thua Thien Hue and HCM City.
