Despite difficulties in terrain, they have tried their best to implement the project to construct new markers and upgrade the existing ones along the Vietnam-Laos border, said Nguyen Huong Giang, Head of the Border Department under the Quang Binh provincial Department for External Affairs.

They are set to complete construction of the last 18 new border markers, most of them in mountainous terrain, she said.
