Over the past five years, the MoLISA’s patriotic emulation movements have received a positive response from all staff in the sector as well as social sections, which has greatly contributed to achieving the country’s socio-economic targets.
The Ministry has earned more than 25,450 orders, medals, certificates of merit and emulation flags from the Party and State and it is one of the five ministries with the greatest number of legal documents.
MoLISA Deputy Minister Nguyen Trong Dam emphasised nine targets set by the ministry in the 2011-2015 period, including creating 8 million jobs, increasing trained workers of 55 percent of the workforce, and reducing the number of poor households to 2 percent of the population.
Deputy PM Nhan praised the ministry’s role and contributions to the country’s sustainable economic growth and political stability.
He called on the Ministry to promote emulation movements by multiplying exemplary role models and enhancing its management capacity and leadership to fulfill all tasks entrusted to it by the Party and State.
Mr Nhan and the ministry’s leaders presented 7 Labour Orders, 8 Certificates of Merit, and other honourary titles to outstanding individuals and collectives involved in patriotic emulation movements.
