Officials from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Labour Party of Mexico (PT) have sought ways to enhance friendship and cooperation between their parties.
Deputy Head of the CPV Central Commission for External Relations Vuong Thua Phong and PT’s Secretary General Alberto Anaya Gutierez discussed the issue during their working session held on the sidelines of an international conference themed “Parties and a new society” in Mexico, from March 22-24.

Phong and his entourage also held meetings with other international delegates to the conference, which brought together over 500 participants, including 200 from 48 countries around the world.

At the conference, Phong delivered a speech, highlighting important triumphs of some ruling left-wing parties and other left-wing parties in recent parliamentary and presidential elections in Latin America.

He introduced delegates to Vietnam’s goals and ways to build socialism as well as its socio-economic achievements over the 25 years of (Doi Moi) renovation under the CPV’s leadership.
