Nguyen Van Thien, deputy secretary of the provincial Party Committee and chairman of the People’s Committee, recalled the glorious history of 35 years ago. He called on the local Party Committee and people to grasp every opportunity to overcome the current difficulties and develop the socio-economy, especially investing in the infrastructure, train human resources and introducing better social welfare and environmental protection.

During the past 35 years, Binh Binh has paid a lot of effort to becoming one of five key economic regions in the central. The establishment of Nhon Hoi industrial park marked the province’s strong development. It has so far attracted 28 projects with a registered capital of nearly VND24,000 billion, laying foundations for the province to become an industrial and tourism centre. The living conditions of the local people have also been improved significantly.

On the occasion, the provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee, People’s Council and Fatherland Front held a meeting with several war veterans.
