During the visit, Khiet met with Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and First Vice President of the Venezuelan National Assembly Dario Vivas and parliamentarians involved in party building and mass mobilisation work. She had a working session with the Ministry of Communal Affairs on social policies and assistance for the poor. 

She also exchanged views with Venezuelan Minister of Women’s Affairs Maria Leon on the important duties and responsibilities of women in the cause of national construction and defence. 

The Venezuelan hosts expressed their wish to learn from Vietnam’s experiences in mass mobilisation work.
