Alderman Ian Luder, Lord Mayor of the City of London, will lead a group of leading financial and service businesses to visit Vietnam from July 1-6.

He is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, the Governor of the State Bank, and mayors of Hanoi and HCM City as well as many big Vietnamese businesses.

He will attend a workshop on Vietnam’s legal integration into the World Trade Organisation, deliver a speech at a conference on HCM City’s prospects for becoming a regional financial centre and meet with British businesses operating in Vietnam.

Vietnam is one of the Lord Mayor’s stopovers during his Asian trip from June 29 to July 10. Besides Vietnam he will visit the Republic of Korea and Malaysia.
