Liechtenstein wants to strengthen cooperative ties with Vietnam, said the Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Alois Philipp Maria, while receiving newly accredited Vietnamese ambassador Hoang Van Nha on April 8.
Prince Alois welcomed the first Vietnamese ambassador to his country and congratulated Vietnam on its achievements during national socio-economic development and international integration.
For his part, ambassador Nha welcomed Liechtenstein companies’ plans to invest in Vietnam and expressed his belief that with the recent establishment of diplomatic ties and the appointment of ambassadors in their countries, the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Liechtenstein will further develop in the future.
Vietnam and Liechtenstein established their diplomatic ties at the ambassadorial level on July 2, 2008.
Liechtenstein has two investment projects on garment and construction stone processing in Vietnam, totaling US$35.5 million.
