Entitled ‘Lenin’s heritage in today’s world and Vietnam’s renovation’, the workshop aimed to celebrate the 140th birthday of Lenin, the great leader of the working class and the toiling people all over the world.
On addressing the event, the director of the academy, Le Huu Nghia, confirmed the need to further research and develop Marxism-Leninism in the current context. This is an important task, requiring coordinated efforts from many people, he said.
During the workshop, several academics underscored the values of Lenin’s heritage in terms of ideology, theory, and personality, and the need to creatively apply them to the building of socialism in Vietnam.
The workshop was attended by To Huy Rua, Head of the Central Commission for Education and Communication, and representatives from the Russian embassy in Hanoi.
