Laos has published a book on Ho Chi Minh’s Thought and ethic example in practising thrift and fighting corruption, wastefulness and bureaucracy, written by the former Minister of Information and Culture, Bountenh Vongxay.
The book gathers articles of his theoretical research on the simple but great example of Vietnam’s late President Ho Chi Minh.
The book’s author, who previously headed the Lao News Agency, said the Laotians could learn many practical lessons from Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
The book will come out before the ninth National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party opens at the end of March.
In 2006, Bountenh published a book on Ho Chi Minh’s thought in Vietnam’s renovation cause, which has been used by Lao schools and armed forces as textbooks for their political education.
