Pasaxon Newspaper and the Lao News Agency, KPL, covered PM Thammavong and his entourage’s four-day visit to Vietnam’s Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Binh Dinh provinces to learn about their development models.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by PM Nguyen Tan Dung and Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc, along with other Vietnamese Party and State leaders.

The newspaper also emphasized the significance of the visit, saying it will open up opportunities for investment cooperation between the two countries, especially as they are preparing for Vietnam-Laos Friendship Year 2012.
