•  Lao leader seeks to boost ties with Da Nang

The corporation’s General Director Tran Van Pho informed President Sayasone that the company generates jobs for 6,500 workers. He also told the President of the company’s annual revenue of VND1,600 billion with average growth of more than 32 percent.

President Sayasone said that his time in Vietnam had been productive and successful and affirmed that the official visit helps further strengthen special ties between the two countries. He expressed his sincere thanks for Vietnam’s assistance in the past struggle for national independence and the current renewal process of Laos.

He praised the corporation’s achievements in recent years and hoped that the company would expand the material zone and strengthen cooperative ties with Lao businesses.

He urged Danang to coordinate with Lao localities to plant cotton in his country.
