HCMA Deputy Director Le Quoc Ly said at the ceremony that Vietnam and Laos have held a number of training courses for their officals in recent years, including some on capacity building for Lao political lecturers.

During the three-month course, the trainees joined a fact-finding programme in seven cities and provinces across Vietnam to learn more about Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology. They also gained valuable teaching and managing experience at Vietnamese political schools so that they can apply when they return to lecture in Laos.
