Vice president Dam said that in anticipation of the 45th anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic ties, VFF and the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association have promoted dissemination of information on the time-honored, close, profound and sustainable ties between the two countries and people.

Bounponne Sangsomsack said that in addition to expanding the two countries' diplomatic and cooperative ties, the delegation's visit also aims to learn about VFF's experiences in mobilising people of all walks of life and promoting national unity.

He said he hopes the special solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos will constantly develop in the future.
